Jenny believes in the immense strengths and innate wisdom that each individual has from their lived experiences. She utilizes a person-centered approach, trusting that the therapeutic relationship is the most effective tool in therapy, and this relationship is built and cultivated in a space of warmth, authenticity, support, and safety. When we’re faced with adversity, are in a state of distress or overwhelm, or have experienced trauma, it is often a natural response to feel anxious, depressed, hopeless, helpless, or stuck. Counselling can help us move through the emotional distress and embark on a journey of growth, change, and healing, which is possible for everyone. Utilizing approaches in Mindfulness, CBT, Emotion-Focused Therapy, EMDR, and Somatic techniques, Jenny offers tailored support to each client based on their unique needs and goals for therapy.
